The nature of the app is for sharing reviews amongst people you trust and in turn receiving reviews from trusted sources. But its more! Its easy to discover local restaurants based on your location and your friends activity. Now theres no excuse for staying home on Saturday night!

About Chekplate
Chekplate came about because we didnt know who to believe any more, especially after being disappointed so often with restaurants that had great generalized reviews, but never met our personal standards for food, service or pricing. We were kind of bummed out that what was five stars to some unknown person turned out to be too expensive, too small portions, to too whatever to us personally, so thats why we go where our friends suggest since we share the same experiences, eat the same food, and have similar budgets.
